Strange visitor from a funny planet, whose goofy face and spriteful smiling charm have made him America's favorite from coast to coast.
Screwball is a Monitor, neither a human nor machine, but rather an organic machine with many strange quirks and capabilities. He is also one of the Men From Unknown Worlds and as such a hero on other planets. He is eternally pleasant, good-natured and unperturbable. When he got to this planet, he gave himself a crash course in our culture by reading the entire contents of a Library in one day.
Yet with all his knowledge he did not grow up here and must still strive to understand normal humans on an everyday basis. He's always trying to fit in with everyone else and his attempts are both charming and a little pathetic.
He's kind of a cross between Spock and Barney the Dinosaur. He flies about on his Missile-Toed Feet, he has a pet shoelace, prefers sleeping in a burrow, and watches five TV's at the same time.
Screwball first appeared in Flaming Carrot #16 with subsequent appearances in Flaming Carrot #17, 19, 24, 26, 27, Flaming Carrot Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Crossover #1 - 4, and the upcoming Bob Burden's Original Mysterymen Comics #3.
